Huili School Nantong
Simon Kenworthy Master of Huili School Nantong
Simon is from the United Kingdom and has a background in Mathematics and Sport, gaining a BSc from Birmingham University and a PGCE from Durham University. After qualifying as a teacher, Simon initially taught in two top independent schools in the UK before moving abroad to become Head of Maths and Sport at The Banda School in Kenya. From there his journey took him to the UAE where he was involved with the start-up of Brighton College Abu Dhabi as Deputy Head and then Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, where he was Headmaster of the Prep School. His experience in leading two teams through the early stages of school development will prove hugely advantageous as our Huili School in Nantong begins to take root. Simon is married to Phoebe, who is also a teacher, and they are due to have their first child in early July. Simon enjoys sports, technology, acting and travel, and is now looking forward to exploring China in more detail as well as attempting to learn some Mandarin.
